How It Works

Air Source Heat Pumps collect outdoor heat and distribute it to radiators, underfloor heating, and hot water cylinders, providing an energy-efficient and cost-effective alternative for households.

Installation
Process

Due to a similar layout to those of conventional oil or gas boilers, the installation process of ASHPs is much less complicated.

Installation

The ASHPs are installed outside the house on a stable concrete base where they can capture outdoor heat.

Pipework

The pipework and electrical lines run from the ASHPs to the internal home system. There is no need for external digging in most cases.

Connections

After the initial installation, the new system is connected to the property’s radiators, hot water cylinders and underfloor heating (if applicable)

Radiators

Due to ASHPs ability to generate heat at lower temperatures, bigger radiators need to be installed.

*Note – It should be kept in mind that despite our efficient installation team, homeowners and tenants may face some disturbance. The time to replace old systems varies based on size. Small properties might take a day, while larger ones may take up to 3 days.
